A dark candle-lit room provides the setting for this new visual to my latest single “Snake Lady”. Donning a retro VHS vibe, a black cat, hot dripping wax, and chains, the video showcases the emotions this song's femme fatale brought out of me. 

 

This mysterious woman, while she played masterful mind-games, also influenced and pushed me further in my journey of self-discovery. The antagonist in the single I can best describe as "a temptress with a darkly magnetic aura". She had a charm to her, a snaky charm, and I was instantly enamored and stricken. I was in a very vulnerable place in my life and she definitely exploited that. Strangely enough, though, I found my empowerment wrapped up in her cold-hearted coils.

 

Most all of the darker chapters of my life are beholden to silver linings and this certainly is a part of my story I am very thankful for.
