NEWS - TIME THIEVES (power-pop) expolres the futility of rehashing old solutions on "Remember I Forgot"

TIME THIEVES is a guitar driven power pop 4 piece formed in Chicago in 2015. Jonathan Pool (of Brickfight) and Mike Oberlin (of Sass Dragons, Rad Payoff) had for many years discussed forming a band based on power pop bands they loved. Having both played in many punk bands around the Chicago scene over the years, this project became an exercise in focusing on melody and the craft of song while still retaining the energy and emotion of their punk roots.
With the addition of Annie Saunders (of This Is My Fist!, Ambition Mission, BullNettle) and Tim Reynolds (of Hospital Job, Horrible Things) the band has a shared history of multiple decade’s worth of midwestern punk in one band that is decidedly not punk.
