Year Without Summer was formed last year by singer and guitarist Olle Drugge (former member of the Swedish band Papills, who before the pandemic had a small breakthrough in Asia where the album Too Hot For May was released by the Japanese label Rimeout Recordings) and guitarist Olle Wahlström (from Mountainbike Death Tigers). After recruiting drummer Mårten Nilsson (from the bands Massive Lights and Everything Breaks) and bassist Deniz Üver (soon-to-be a legendary jazz musician...!) an explosively highly creative process got underway in first the rehearsal room and then the recording studio.
In November, Year Without Summer presented themselves to the outside world with the singles Silver Light and Do You Hate What I've Become?, both of which are included on the debut EP Franscesco, which has been  released some days ago  ahead of the band's upcoming gigs in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Växjö, Sweden.
