Peace Award, she will fly to Tokyo in a couple of weeks, where she has been appointed a member of the Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts and invited to participate in the International Art Awards Exhibition at the Metropolitan Art Museum. Today she releases her first internationally released single Choir of Dawn’s Light, which is produced in collaboration with her former colleague in the successful Swedish seventies band Landslaget: Lasse Lindbom, who, in addition to his own career, has also produced albums with Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson of Roxette fame

Maj-Britt Niklasson has previously participated in exhibitions in the USA, Switzerland, France, Denmark, and China, where last year she participated with seven paintings in the collective exhibition Eurovisions at the Archive Art Museum in Beijing. After her oil painting Without footprints was awarded the International Peace Award, she has now been accepted into the International Art Awards Exhibition at the Metropolitan Art Museum in Tokyo from 29 May to 4 June. The award also includes her being appointed a Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts member. Next week Maj-Britt Niklasson will therefore travel to Japan to participate in the opening and award ceremony.
