Better man than me  is originated from one of Studio 77's regular jam sessions. The core of the song is a funky baseline and syncopated drum beat, subtly inspired by Tedeshi Trucks band. Guitars bring brightness to the song, with Wah effects in the second verse adding even more funk, before building to a big alternative soulful chorus, guitar solo and finish.
