NEWS - Sons of Goose (Switzerland): Modern alternative rock with big melodies and riffs on “Fuzzinator”
“Fascinating!” That’s the word hidden in the title of the new single by the Aargau-based band SONS OF GOOSE – if you say it out loud. And indeed, what we hear is just that: fascinating. This is top-tier, modern alternative rock – an electrifying blend of powerful fuzz guitars, driving drums, and atmospheric synths that grabs listeners from the very first second.
Frontman and guitarist Al Schmid previously found success with the pop band Lockstoff, drummer Sascha Kammermann played with Schwyz-based mash and Trybguet, where keyboardist Oliver Meckmann was also a member. Guitarist John Kolberg and Dave Eichenberger – known from the Aarau band Steem – have been active in various acts and projects as well.
Together, they've now recorded their second single "Fuzzinator" under the new band name SONS OF GOOSE. The track is a taste of their upcoming debut album and the many live shows planned for the second half of 2025 and into 2026.
