UK indie-rock duo Blood Red Shoes return with new tour dates and the single ‘Screams’, their first new music since 2023. 

The Brighton band consisting of Laura-Mary Carter (guitar, vocals) and Steven Ansell (drums, vocals) celebrated their 20 years of activity with 20 Years Of Blood Red Shoes: Live In Paris and four event concerts in 2024, after which Laura-Mary focussed on her solo endeavours including a new studio album and a tour as support for Queens Of The Stone Age 

“Screams is a reflective, messy, unpretentious rock n roll song, a reflection of who we are right now, 22 years into our partnership, inspired by an old photo, and by our own history together. We wanted it to feel like a home video we’re sharing with the world and it was made entirely by us, written, recorded, engineered, mixed - nobody else was involved at any stage. Just us, in our own studio, in our own world, being ourselves.”
