Trianna Feruza and The Heavy Hitters were formed by vocalist Trianna Feruza, drummer Ryan Ouse and bassist Zach Latham who all met at the jazz program at Cabrillo College in Soquel, CA with guitarist Josh Baldwin joining shortly after. Together, they create a genre-bending sound, blending neo-soul with funk, pop, jazz and hip-hop influences, reminiscent of Amy Winehouse and Anderson .Paak, promising electrifying live performances.

Trianna Feruza & The Heavy Hitters' new album, "Heavy Hitters," offers a dreamlike journey through diverse sonic landscapes. The upbeat energy is evident in "More Than Enough," a crowd-pleasing track about finding balance that features Feruza's playful '90s-style rap reminiscent of Left Eye (TLC) leading into an infectious hook and a powerful guitar bridge by Latham and Baldwin. The same confident energy fuels "Never Forget," where Feruza delivers a heated, early 2000s Gwen Stefani-esque rap-singing style, exploring the complexities of love, with a rhythm-driven backbone provided by drummer Ouse. Lastly, anchored by a deep bass groove from Latham and an '80s California funk vibe, "She Got Friends" honestly delves into navigating social gossip and the longing for connection, highlighted by Feruza's dynamic vocal range and soulful delivery.
