Since a young girl Nakima always had dreams of pursuing a music career. Born to military parents and rooted in her Caribbean heritage, Nakima has carried her voice across cities, talent shows, and early auditions while searching for her place in music. Now developing her sound under the mentorship of artist/songwriter Haley Smalls and Grammy-nominated producer Megaman (Lil Wayne, Drake), she's shaping a modern R&B lane grounded in emotional honesty and atmospheric production.
