NEWS - Quixote RPM 1=0 new EP
Quixote RPM proudly presents this forthcoming EP scheduled to be released on November the 11th. 1=0, pronounced unegalzero, is far from mainstream.
The five tracks of the Secte de 1=0 EP put an end to the longest hiatus of the project and to a recording and mixing process fragmented by time and distance. Their music still has this on-edge undulating post-rock signature. With two albums and six EPs, both the record and the live experiences drive the audience into a mix of energy, tension and stun. Ali Veejay, lyricist and composer, never lost his confidence and determination of carrying out a unique and demanding project. Intense emotions and sharpened wordbook are the cement of exalted songs leaning towards a Spinoza infused hip hop. Once straightforward nihilistic, 1=0 developed several layers of conversation about the Occident's torments and the inner resolutions they demand. Lyrics-wise, the songs seek reconciliation of heart and reason, shaping a personal and fragile peace, hoping to spread to the collective.
