Kostiantyn Pochtar, better known as Postman, began his musical odyssey in Kyiv, crafting intimate 'city folk' songs with just a guitar and harmonica. One of those early songs, Kyivski Vulytsi (The Streets of Kyiv), was a huge success and has since been considered by many as an unofficial hymn of Ukraine’s capital. "Parusy" is a song-fantasy built on the rhythms of tropicalia and Mediterranean funk, about an imagined place where summer never ends and patiently awaits those who may have missed it. The recording sessions took place first in Berlin, then in the serene setting of Monochrom Studio, nestled in the picturesque mountains along the Polish-Czech border. The song further explores the Brazilian-inspired motifs and rhythms that first surfaced on the Still Life album in 2023, carrying Postman into new, sunlit territory.
