The Popravinas, a 5th Album, "Low Chance"

A journey through the past and recent feelings of glad, sad and very funny, The Popravinas (pope-rah-veen-ahs) return with their 5th album, "Low Chance."
Having delightfully been accused as treading "a thin line between smart-arsery and just plain smart," some may say "Low Chance" reveals an essence of maturity...but this band has a way of changing moods and actions quite rapidly!
From the 'glad' of Closest Thing to a Smile, the 'sad' of North Winds Howling, to the 'very funny' of their latest single "The Girl Who Didn't Want To Hear Any Tunes," an ode to a past "affaire de coeur."
"Very good looking, very smart." as explained by Eddy Sill (Lead Vocals/Bass/Songwriter). "But couldn't stand to hear any music. Drove her absolutely crazy. Perhaps cultural, I heard it could've been a medical condition...but I didn't want to get into that!"
The Popravinas continue to brilliantly fuse the jangle of the 60's and 70's with brushes of alt-country along with the rockiest of power pop.
As one live reviewer recently contended, "How could something like this fall through the cracks? Melody meets fun, all wrapped up in a colorful bow of perfectly written tunes."
As The Popravinas always say... they'll "See You At The Bar!"
