Poly-Math are an Instrumental Prog band from Brighton and London, UK. Influenced heavily by early Classic Prog, Ethio-Jazz, Post-Rock & Math-Rock, the band have explored different genres and identities over the course of their 5 Albums, 2 side project Lockdown Albums, and Numerous EP’s.

Poly-Math have existed in several lineups, starting as a 3-piece in 2013, and formed by guitarist, Tim Walters. Originally the drummer of Post-Rock band, Monsters Build Mean Robots, Tim formed Poly-Math in order to focus on guitar, and explore more expansive instrumental music...

In 2024 Poly-Math began work on their most recent record, ‘Something Deeply Hidden’ alongside the preliminarily released EP, ‘The Halting Problem’. These 2 releases are the first to include abstract expressionist artwork created by guitarist Tim Walters.

Both the album and EP are the first releases to be largely recorded by the band themselves.
