NEWS - Philly Soul Veteran Marcy James – "I Really Love You"

Based in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area, veteran vocalist Marcy James has been sharing her God-given talent, active in two different choirs under the leadership of Professor Willie Phillips who is the Minister of Music for the Ebenezer Methodist Church. Marcy is currently contracted to act and sing in a few professional theatre stage plays that keep her busy. It keeps her vocally focused and on point with the performing arts community. Currently, she’s in a stage play in Philadelphia titled “Jesus Kept Me." Marcy has recently signed a worldwide recording contract with Society Hill Records, under the tutelage of the legendary producer Butch Ingram, the man most responsible for keeping the golden sound of Philly soul alive. For her debut recording for Society Hill, Marcy performs a brilliant rendition of Dee Dee Sharp's classic 1965 soul ballad, "I Really Love You," adding her unique personal stamp to the time-honored classic. Marcy's singular mission is to use her blessings and gifts to help listeners find the joy and peace that’s missing in our world.
