Peggy James,  born in Milwaukee,spent her formative years in the Southwest.

This desert “Americana” flavor influences all of her songs allowing her song writing style to be both unique and eclectic.

She begins thie song  with a question: "Have you heard of a man named O. Winston Link?" The answer, for me, was no. But by the end of the song, I knew something about this man, a photographer who focused his work on the railroads. It's a beautiful song. "At a crossing with the full moon behind.” - Mike Dougherty
