NEWS - New EP - One-Eared Boy and the Orphan Train Riders

Somewhere between Nick Cave and Beck, between Dante's shadows and the fragility of Daniel Johnston, the record explores themes of alienation, abandonment and grief, inspired by the largely forgotten story of the Orphan Train Riders (over 250,000 children sent by train from New York to the Midwest between 1853 and 1929, in search of a better life — sometimes finding it, sometimes not).

This story of displacement and fragile belonging runs through a record that blends indie rock, folk and subtle hip-hop influences, moving between darkness and light, intimacy and bursts of energy.
