On April 25, Dutch superstar Douwe Bob will release "Funny", a cheerful and optimistic track that seamlessly continues the pop sound introduced on last year’s studio album Where Did All The Cool Kids Go? 

Douwe Bob is an artist who effortlessly moves between genres, with a repertoire spanning Americana, folk, and pop. On Funny, he reveals his lightest side yet. The single is an ode to the everyday moments that add color to life: the sun on your face, a singing bird, a sudden sense of freedom. 

“Funny, now that the sun is shining down on my face / I can feel the world turn into a brighter place.” 

The single is released shortly before the grand finale of his This World Is Our Home tour. On May 16, Douwe Bob will take the stage at AFAS Live, rounding off a successful period in style.  

Douwe Bob already boasts a celebrated career. He won The Best Singer-Songwriter of the Netherlands, represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest, and received multiple accolades including Edison Awards, a BUMA Award, and several 3FM Awards.
