"Standout track "GOOD GIRLS (DON'T ALWAYS WEAR WHITE)" written by Corinne Lynn Brandenburg-Compton, the first single culled from the album

Adding to the mixture is the essence of hillbilly jazz none other than violinist extraordinaire, the late Vassar Clements. Vassar's fiddle is seamlessly blended with a cadre of talented string players performing on dobro, guitar, mandolin, and banjo. The final result is a near perfect production that will go down like a shot of the finest moonshine. The story behind the recording begins in rural Wisconsin in the mid 1980s. Moonshine, originally a husband and wife duo from Wisconsin, performed at a large country music festival. Here, they caught the ear of Vassar Clements who also was a performer at the fest. Clements invited moonshine to record at his studio in Nashville. In 1987, gathering together a handful of musician friends. Moonshine and company tricked to the Nashville studio and went to work. Vassar provided a couple of studio pals to lay down drums and baselines.  Moonshine, now a group effort, were prepared and within a few days emerged from the recording studio with 10 complete tunes, 8 originals and 2 covers. Quite the accomplishment!
