NEWS - Melanie & The Adverts "I Will Walk You Home"

In late 2023, just months before her death in January of this year, folk and counterculture icon Melanie and her son Jarred Schekeryk began work on what she intended to be her next album, a collection of covers. Several songs had already been completed when she died, and some were still in the works, such as "I Will Walk You Home," from punk icons The Adverts. Earlier this year, Beau set about reconstructing the track, taking the recordings that Melanie had left behind and painstakingly realigning them with The Adverts' original recording. The result, for fans of both Melanie and The Adverts, is spellbinding... even spine chilling.
