Marius Ziska , a first English-language single

For Ziska, "Where Did I Go Wrong" began with a phrase that wouldn't leave, sung over a chord shape that wouldn't either. The song is the territory mapped out from there: an English-language step taken after a decade of writing largely in Faroese, opened up by two collaborators who helped finish what the melody started.
"When I stumbled upon this melody, the line 'where did I go wrong' came out of nowhere, and I immediately felt it was something very special and honest for me", says Ziska. "For a long time I was mostly mumbling random words in English and singing that one line. With that starting point I invited Nick Tsang and Stewart Brock to write the lyrics, and they found a path that really felt right and genuine."
The track was recorded and produced by Ziska with Kristoffer Mørkøre, with contributions from his long-standing band - Heðin Ziska Davidsen, Magnus Johannesen and Jan Rúni Poulsen. Mixed by Mørkøre, mastered by Heini Ragnarsson. Lyrics co-written by Nick Tsang and Stewart Brock.
