Lost Leaders, the project of Byron Isaacs (of The Lumineers) and Peter Cole, unveil 'Atalanta,” the first single from the forthcoming soundtrack to RUN. The track features a powerful, restrained vocal performance from Amy Helm and marks the beginning of a deeply collaborative musical world built for the film.
Lost Leaders wrote and produced “Atalanta,” served as producers and the backing band throughout the entire soundtrack, and composed the original score. “Atalanta” stands at the emotional center of the project, less traditional soundtrack fare and more interior monologue. It underscores one of the film’s pivotal turning points, the moment where forward motion collides with truth.
Lost Leaders will be debuting “Atalanta” live on select dates supporting the Wallflowers on their Bringing Down the Horse 30th Anniversary tour.
