Leo XIV is a Chicago-based artist with roots in Cincinnati whose life and music are shaped by a deep love for animals, nature, and all things paranormal and metaphysical. After making music in various forms for most of his life—from grunge bands in his grandma’s basement to progressive rock, psychedelic funk, EDM, and hip-hop production—he stepped away from creating due to mental health struggles and difficult life events. In recent years, he’s experienced what he describes as a spiritual awakening, reclaiming his confidence and sense of purpose. Grateful for his family, friends, and well-being, Leo XIV now views music as his lifeblood and the purest expression of who he is, channeling a wide range of influences from Radiohead and Sigur Rós to The Weeknd, and Sleep Token into a sound that’s both thoughtful and emotionally charged.
