NEWS - Lecx Stacy – "The Folkhouse" out 

The record explores grief, heartbreak, and eventual acceptance through blurred lines of memory, inheritance, and lived experience. There's a really striking thread running through it about the overlap between Stacy's own life and stories passed down from his father, particularly around these smoke-filled bar rooms and the emotional weight attached to them.

Musically it moves between fragile, almost still moments and much heavier waves of distortion and emotional intensity. Focus track "In a Hail of Bullets, She's the Gun" centres on anxious attachment and the pull toward people who can completely consume you.
