Kate Schutt  (pronounced “shut”), is an award-winning female singer-songwriter, jazz guitarist, and music producer.

Her music, while unique in its own right, draws influence from and has been compared to artist/storytellers such as Randy Newman, Leonard Cohen, Cole Porter, Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, Cassandra Wilson, Shawn Colvin, and John Mayer.
