NEWS - James Arlowe'Goddam' was written in an hour on a Wednesday night in the fall of 2024 while I was home all alone and thinking about writing a song that me and some friends could play together on our next jam night. 

Something that we could all sing along to while having a few beers and playing random covers as you do when you get a group of musicians and their instruments in the same room. We got together that Saturday and laid it down live in the room and that is what you hear on this track. Graciously, Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan let me use a little bit of the lyrics to their song 'Chocolate Jesus' which you will hear at the end. Since then, me and the boys have written near 40 songs that will be released over the course of the next year over multiple EP's of varying genres. 'Goddam' will be featured on the upcoming EP 'DARK COUNTRY' out June 12.
