NEWS - INDIE FOLK ARTIST HOLLY LOVELL “MAGNETIC… CONFESSIONAL” (-UNDER THE RADAR)  TITLE TRACK “HELLO CHELSEA” FROM ALBUM OUT

Holly Lovell, crafts songs that capture aching intimacy and vulnerability through perceptive storytelling. Using a mix of both acoustic and electric guitar, Lovell’s alternative folk style songs are delivered with strong melodies and spirited conviction. She has been influenced by the lyrical prowess of artists such as Patty Griffin, Brandi Carlile and Bruce Springsteen.
Holly - who holds dual citizenship through her father (Australian) and mother (American) - moved to Sydney when she was 12 years old. The family eventually lived up north to Queensland where she attended high school. As a way of coping with the loneliness of moving to a new country, Holly learned guitar. Australian singer-songwriter Missy Higgins, was a huge catalyst for Holly to pursue music. She cut her teeth in Australia, and began playing live - opening for The Fray at The Tivoli in Brisbane in 2010.
