The I Am Not a Stranger solo project was created by Italian musician 

Simone Russo during his time in Sheffield UK, where he lived for 8 years after extensive experience in the world of music as the drummer of Sonic Jesus.
In the final 2 years of his stay in Sheffield, through a culmination of previous folk influences and the array of English Underground musical scenes, that were revealed to him, Simone was able to undergo an internal journey leading to the writing of this album. Various songs were initially written using guitar and electronic drums alone. Then in Collaboration with producer Don Rhajin, Russo brought the songs to life.
