NEWS - A Hero's Journey Begins! Fantasy Metal SIEGE PERILOUS' Unveils Video "Child of Prophecy"

Forged in the fires of fantasy and history, Siege Perilous is a Colorado‑based power metal band dedicated to crafting epic, cinematic, story‑driven music. The band was founded by Shaughnessy McDaniel (vocals), Scott Hancock (guitar), and Mark Girard (drums) after years of camaraderie in the same LARP community. Inspired by Unleash the Archers' 2021 Denver performance, they set out to create their own mythic soundscape. They soon recruited Eric Fischer (bass) of the Celtic folk band The Stubby Shillelaghs and, in 2024, welcomed Ryan Flanagan to complete the lineup.

Their influences include Manowar, Battle Beast, Iron Maiden, Hammerfall, Sabaton, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, Helloween, and Avantasia.
