Formed in the summer of 2022, GRRRIZZLY bandmates Lisa Koenig (guitar, vocals) and Elizabeth Franklin (drums, vocals) formed a unique yin yang type of bond that can't be broken. Lisa was the drummer for legendary underground 90's proto riot-grrrl band Calamity Jane based in Olympia/Portland, and later with the band Creep that issued several releases on Sub Pop Records. Liz has drummed with the bands Tea In The Harbor and Olympia psych-rockers The Mezmerizers.
