NEWS - EvOLu   Stars Can't Shine Without Darkness (Mattias Johansson Mix)

Since the early 90s, the Swedish musician, producer and artist Richard Solstierna has had Berlin as a base for his musical and artistic projects. After previously working with, among others, Universal Love and EvOLu, this year he made his solo debut under his name. However, today's single release is the fourth single from the album 00:00:00 with his own EvOLu - an electronic album that received airplay and was highlighted around Europe. The new single is a remix of the album track Stars Can't Shine Without Darkness,  made by Mattias Johansson in Malmö, Sweden.

Richard Solstierna has previously collaborated with Berlin-based Noblesse Oblige and house producer Michael Lovatt as well as the Swedish popstar Di Leva, pop princesses Ida Long and SoLBLoMMa, as well as Swedish producers such as Andreas Ahlenius (Sabia, Miss Li, Marty Willson-Piper, Di Leva), Christer Björklund (Robyn, Papa Dee, Di Leva) and Håkan Nilsson (Di Leva). He started his career in the legendary punk band PF Commando and continued during the 80s than in the post-punk/avant-garde band Modaern Art, the post-punk/goth band The Bizarre Orkeztra, and the electro/goth band Metal Mean Machine. Today he is also internationally established as a painter and artist, and has exhibited his art both around Europe and in New York and Odessa.
