NEWS - Clinique Lacuna is a unique and refreshing project that’s about to make waves

It features Darzack and Late, two producers with eclectic discographies. When they join forces, they create distinctly '80s-inspired electronic music with a club-oriented twist, in a hybrid “italo-distro” style that sometimes flirts with EBM or breakbeat. Kitsch yet irresistibly catchy synth lines blend with punchy, groove-driven basslines, all crashing into dark, epic instrumentation. At times, the voices of both musicians emerge in the tracks, fully embracing the spirit of party music, the kind you shout along to at the top of your lungs, until you lose your voice. Whether live or in DJ sets, Clinique Lacuna is known for its extraordinary energy and a spontaneous, genuine connection with the audience. On March 27, the duo unveiled their first single .move, taken from their EP Who Can Revive The City?, which is being released today. This 6-track project is an '80s-inspired electronic journey infused with pop influences, like the theme song of an already cult TV series. The duo imagined a fictional dystopian city where radio signals have gone silent. Seeing themselves as the saviors of the party, Clinique Lacuna wants to turn the ghetto blasters back on and awaken the slumbering crowds. They dusted off LinnDrums, Korg 700s, D-50s, and other iconic ‘80s gear to recapture the charm and nostalgia of a golden era in music. In a stronghold of the underground resistance, a wise elder once told them they were the chosen ones. Since then, they've been shredding their fingers on ferocious basslines in search of the ultimate groove.
