WITH CHILD is the musical project of Idaho based visual artist and carpenter Elijah Jensen-Lindsey. Since it's formation in 2008, WITH CHILD has been Jensen-Lindsey's vehicle to explore the terrains of bedroom folk, experimental pop, and sound collage, and has self-released a slew of homespun, DIY albums that highlight his penchant for lilting melodies, wide-eyed poetic musings and esoteric recording methods. In 2009, a near death experience in an automobile accident led Jensen-Lindsey into a decade long period of rebuilding and self-reflection, which led to a deepened understanding of the universal tides of life, death, and all the waves in between. During this period he took a more diaristic approach to his musical output, and made many of his recordings at home on a voice memo recorder. Among his releases are "Totally Glowing Opening", a collection of songs he wrote and recorded during an artist residency in Pentwater, MI in 2016, and "Goth Congress", a limited edition pressing recorded in 2008 in his bedroom. Both collections are primariliy solo affairs, and showcase his love for folk/outsider music. With Child released a full length album "Undressing in the Wind", a collection of earlier songs that have been reworked significantly.
