Described by LAOR as a journey woven as a ceremony, 'ÊMOONÀ' showcases original compositions alongside interpretations of some of her favourite medicine songs. Across eleven tracks, the album reflects her intention of creating music that offers space for presence, healing and connection. Drawing from a range of influences, including Indigenous traditions, Mediterranean culture, Jewish heritage and ceremonial practice, LAOR's music is rooted in a longstanding relationship with song as a form of prayer and expression. Through each of the tracks on 'ÊMOONÀ', she continues to explore these themes while expanding upon the foundation established by her debut release.
