NEWS - Buena Madera Announce Their New Album Core, Out now
Buena Madera is a stoner alternative-metal band from Lozzo Atestino, in the province of Padua, Italy. The trio consists of Renato Rancan (vocals and guitar), Chris Galletta (vocals and bass), and Mirco Gordiani (drums). Active in this lineup since the fall of 2017, the band draws inspiration from Melvins, Mastodon, Voivod, and Tool, blending heavy riffs, driving grooves, and influences from psychedelic, noise, and progressive sounds.
In 2018, they released an EP, followed by their debut album Zero in 2020, produced by Enrico Baraldi (Ornaments, Collars, and sound engineer for Zu). Since then, they’ve played on numerous stages, received great feedback from audiences, and reached the finals of the Veneto Rock Contest several times. In 2023, they participated in a Verdena cover project, contributing their reinterpretation of the track Nova.
