NEWS - Borrower Sign With Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records; New Album "Underway"

Appealing to listeners of Motörhead, Dio, Judas Priest, and fans of both thrash and prog influences, Borrower are ready to reaffirm their presence in the hard rock and heavy metal landscape

Formed in Presicce, Italy in 1993, Borrower quickly established themselves with early demos like "Black Fire" and "Barrier of Truth", later followed by their 1996 self titled release "Borrower", which cemented their distinctive heavy and progressive sound. After periods of pause and side projects, the original members reunited in 2016, eventually releasing the "A Plague Chapter..." EP in 2018, introducing theatrical elements, masks, and a cinematic flair to their live performances.  

Strengthened in 2022 by the addition of Matteo Marzo on bass and Matteo Marini on live guitar, Borrower returned with renewed energy and began work on their upcoming album "Killerdemons".
