NEWS - The Blues Overdrive Releases New Live Album "Live Slices"

The album features carefully selected recordings from the band's live performance in Aarhus for a Danish television channel, where The Blues Overdrive delivered an intense and high-energy blues concert at the peak of their powers. The core lineup — Martin Olsen (vocals/guitar), Andreas Andersen (guitar), Louisian Boltner (drums), and Thor Boding (bass) — is joined along the way by Danish blues veteran Ole Frimer for a Danish version of 16 Tons - a tribute to the legacy of Peter Thorup, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of Danish blues and rock music and best known internationally for his work with the influential 1960-70s artis Alexis Korner, alongside seven other original compositions.
