Founded in 2022 by Adz. (Thy Apokalypse, Reflecting the Light, Kaamosmasennus, Salaman Isku, .eterniteduchaos.), Arbre-dieu was born in 2022 out of a simple necessity: to render an essential and primitive violence into sound. The name consciously refers to the Maison Dieu of the Tarot of Marseille — collapse, revelation, the trace left after the shock — and functions both as a symbolic framework and as an aesthetic promise. The first work, "Nuit noire", was composed and produced between 2022 and 2025. While one might speak of "raw Black Metal" to situate the style, here the label gives way to something else: a deliberately primary, rough and brutal music that privileges ritual and occult intensity over ornamental virtuosity.
