New York City/Los Angeles-based alternative singer-songwriter Alexa Dark shares "Alibi"–a glamorous, reckless ode to romanticizing all parts of life, even the forbidden or toxic. The track unfolds like a shimmering 1960s Hollywood film–one that blurs the lines of fantasy and reality and throws Dark into the spotlight.
Raised between Barcelona, London, and NYC, Dark began writing songs and poetry from an early age influenced by an eclectic range of artists from Portishead to Françoise Hardy to Nancy Sinatra. In March 2023, Dark shared her aptly titled haunting debut seven song EP Dark, Vol. I, mastered by Grammy-award winner Emily Lazar (Beck, HAIM), and Grammy-nominated Joe Lambert (Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen).
