Devon Gaines, professionally known as King Gaines, is a Richmond, California rapper blending mob music, hyphy, conscious rap, and raw street storytelling. Influenced by Mac Dre, 2Pac, The Jacka, J. Cole, and Nipsey Hussle, he developed his craft at Khemistry Lab Studios, sharpening his songwriting and structure to industry level. His debut single “Grind Hard to Shine Hard” introduced him to the Bay Area scene, followed by “Radar,” which earned playlist placements and growing streams. Gaines has been featured in Twist Magazine, performed at venues like Brick & Mortar Music Hall, and collaborated with BDM Drewski, King Nemo, H Tha Great, and Romello Sanders.
