NEWS - ‘Can You Dig It?’ is the debut single from Modem Romance
Two years ago, Texan singer-songwriter Ryan Hamilton left the music business. Now he’s back with new band Modem Romance, a global collective of guest artists collaborating on a sound being labelled as ‘Yacht-Hop Nerd-Rock’. Teaming with former Manager, UK based Steve Rosier, Hamilton set a challenge for a ‘phrase of the week’ to be crafted into a song. Initially set up merely as a fun project between friends, the duo were so excited by the results it has heralded Hamilton’s return to music. Debut track ‘Can You Dig It?’ opens with the line “how far can we go?” which feels somewhat like a mission statement for music incorporating ‘first world problem’ lyrics with upbeat hooks.
