Dark and seductive, with a name taken from a spaghetti western movie, Lola Colt takes us back in the 60s for a psychedelic trip without being too retro or too ambiental. It melts together Jefferson Airplane and Patty Smith, fuzzy guitars, tambourine, tons of tension and an outstanding production. Gun Overbye’s has a great voice which dominates the entire album.

One of London’s most gifted new acts.
