A short bio:

It was a flight to New York that changed Dutch musician Annelotte de Graaf into Amber Arcades. Having spent time writing and recording under her own steam, she locked in time at Strange Weather studio to lay down a new EP.

Working with producer Ben Greenberg and backing band consisting of members from Real Estate, Quilt and Kevin Morby, she created a motorik, drifting, addictive wave of dream pop meets sunkissed indie. Clash called it, “Bleached out indie pop with a feminine twist.”

Fresh from her glittering debut album release, Amber Arcades is back on her travels and hitting Bristol's Crofter's Rights this October.

Amber Arcades, Crofters Rights, Bristol, 21.10.16: a Dutch war crimes lawyer peddling beautiful indie tunes with a little bit of psychedelia, Stereolab and 60s Gainsbourg thrown into the mix, and a voice somewhere between those of Marianne Faithfull and Brigitte Bardot... a wonderful start to the weekend.
