FABIEN DEGRYSE & JOËL RABESOLO DUO

Dans le cadre du Jazz Tour

Une coproduction The Music Village et Les Lundis d’Hortense

Fabien Degryse (guitare), Joël Rabesolo (guitare)

Two guitars and thousands of flavours. That's the menu proposed by belgian Fabien Degryse and Madagascan Joël Rabesolo. The recipe is simple : a quarter of jazz standards, a quarter of Joel's compositions, a quarter of Fabien's compositions and a quarter of Madagascan musical traditions. Fabien brings his acute knowledge of jazz, enhanced by blues and rock vibes, and Joêl brigns madagascan rhythms to the project. This original music is open to every person who enjoys jazz, folk music, blues or pop music !

CARTE BLANCHE TO NATASHA VAN EERDEWEGH

Natasha Van Eerdewegh is a jazz pianist, composer, singer and music teacher. Born in Brussels to a musician father, she had an early classical training before turning towards jazz at the age of 18. With Bill Evans, Wayne Shorter, Richie Beirach, Avishai Cohen and Thelonious Monk as main influences, her music is open and puts interaction between musicians at the forefront. After completing a bachelor degree at the «  Université Libre de Bruxelles » in philosophy, she graduated in 2018 from Brussels Conservatory where she studied with Eric Legnini, Vincent Bruyninckx and Pete Churchill. She is now working on several projects, singing and playing traditional jazz and writing her own music. In December 2019, she released her first original album called « La Piccola Scimmia », souvenir of a one year journey in Italy where she had the opportunity to study with Rosario Giuliani, Maria Pia De Vito and Roberto Gatto, as she dedicated more time to composition.
