As one of the leading figures that calls the West-African metropolis its home, Togo All Stars blend influences from a range of sources, such as the high life movement that got its start in Ghana and the Fela Kuti-pioneered afrobeat that originated from Lagos, into their own uplifting, spiritual style of music.

'Spirits', the new Togo All Stars album, is dedicated to the spiritual awakening of the world, and the continent of Africa in particular, in these troubled times we are currently experiencing.

Agueh Cudjoe, an afropunk innovator who made a name for himself in the 70's, also contributes to the record and makes an appeal to artists of all trades to take action.
