'Bloom' finally establishes the band's knack for dynamic delivery and finds TSTT pushing their limits to extremes. It offers a chance for the group to try out different approaches like the grungy tinged 'Dark Age / Dark Thoughts' and 'Endless' which twists a post shoegaze vibe. Songs here are as good as anything to date especially on a teetering-on-the-edge-of-breakdown version of 'Memory' and the monolith of starched noise built around the sonic guitars of 'Empty Pool'.
