The song was born from an old demo from the spring of 2015, when Christoffer Zetterlund sat in an isolated summer house looking out over Lake Vänern with his friends Jimmy Lindblad and Magnus Fagerström and wrote songs over a cup of coffee. Eight years later, inspired by a new microphone and a 6/8 beat, Christoffer and Josef revived the song and started playing and singing it the way Christoffer remembered it.
