Groupe issu des cendres de nombreux groupes plus ou moins alternatifs des années 80, 90 et 2000 (Dirty Time, Petit Futur, Amazing Games, Unsaid..entre autres) Factheory représente un compromis réussi entre une darkwave aux mélodies imparables et un rock postpunk aux tendances électro.

FACTHEORY are referring to the legendary FACTORY label that saw the birth of Joy Division, a major influence for all members of the band, even though the musical style evolved into an almost romantic melodic postpunk with influences as diverse as Sophia or Noir Désir.
