NEWS - SALESMEN "This Money Will Not Go to Charity"

Salesmen adresses issues we see in modern life. Not by condemning it, but by amplifying and sarcastically celebrating them. This song is about the excesses of capitalism.

Salesmen is a four-piece rock band that originated in The Hague in 2020. After the long cultural hiatus of the pandemic, the band was able to take the stage in 2022. They did this with a Benelux tour where they promoted their first single ‘One More, Please’. After this sequence of successful performances, the band immediately returned to the studio to prepare for a spring leg: the ‘Lock And Load’ Tour. Salesmen is a rock band that draws influences from several decades of rock music with bands such as Led Zeppelin, Triggerfinger, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Tom Waits, Jack White, Wolfmother, Alice In Chains, and LCD Soundsystem. Salesmen are at its best live. With unbridled energy, the bandmembers throw their musical entertainment into the venues in a controlled manner and with purposeful messages. With songs like ‘Those Cheap Suckers’ and ‘Let’s Rob The Gods Blind’, they poke fun at the materialism and commercial opulence of our time. Salesmen want to make a difference and therefore have the vision and drive to win everyone over. They do this by conquering the most beautiful venues, cities, and festivals, together. In October they will release their debut album.
