After surpassing over 1.4 million Spotify streams and over a quarter-million YouTube views from his previous Yellow EP, New York City-based alternative, multi-media artist Peter Lake announces the release of Red, his second EP to be released this year. Out today, Friday, October 8th, Red consists of three tracks written by the artist around the theme of love. The three tracks on Red - “Pour Your Lies,” "Whistle” and “We Got That” - each have its own specific theme.

“We Got That,” captures genuine all-encompassing love. Understanding that love is “all we have,” Lake sings in the song, “the power of love is acknowledging that whatever is lost can be found.” Red, the new EP by multimedia artist Peter Lake, is now  available on all streaming platforms.

, “Pour Your Lies” centers on the cause and effects lying has on others and on oneself. Something we all have struggled with at some point, Lake sings about the internal dilemma of managing a web of lies for a greater purpose.

' Whistle' is the last one.

“Whistle” highlights the simplistic aspects of romantic love. Inspired by Otis Redding’s classic single, “(Sittin' On) the Dock of the Bay”, Lake conveys and recreates similar sentiments in this bluesy emotional track.
