NEWS - Nemesis RI - "Sands of Time" (Epic Heavy/Thrash Metal from US)

The band Nemesis RI formed in the late 80s.The early lineup of Nemesis.  They played in a commercial garage and covered songs by bands such as Dokken, Iron Maiden, The Clash, and Metallica. The band wrote their first original song, "Mirage," and later "Pharaohs" and "Sands of Time." The band went through several lineup changes, with the author and Palumbo pushing for a heavier sound and eventually parting ways with Pavia and Sparaco. The author came up with the band name, Nemesis, and they recruited new members, including drummer Frank Cardillo who helped shape the band's sound. They recorded several demos, with the final version of "Sands of Time" being recorded in 1995. The band eventually disbanded in 1992, but the author continued to work on the recording of "Sands of Time" with Cardillo.
